Conveyor Systems

A Conveyor System is an important item of mechanical machinery that carries material from one location to another. Conveyors can come in differnt sizes, from simple supermarket belts, to massive convyor systems used to transport very heavy and bulk material, often found at a raw material digging ground.

Conveyor systems allow quick and efficient transportation for a wide variety of materials, which make them very popular in the material handling and packaging industries. There are all sorts of different systems that can be used for many different purposes, see The Good Business directory's conveyor systems section for more details. The conveyor system market is worth hundreds of billions of dollars each year showing just how important the industry really is.

Hose Maintenance and Testing

Buckley Industrial is a privately owned business and has been in operation since 1990. Their business specialises in the inspection, testing and manufacturing of hoses for numerous industries such as food processing, paper and petrochemical, power generation and chemical, in the UK and Europe.

Their state of the art hose testing and inspection facilities are able to detect any unforeseen accidents and leakages with their advanced pressure testing facilities.

You may be wondering why hoses need to be tested? Well a burst hose can cause many environment issues, such as unwanted emissions; personal health & safety problems, and it could also be a financial burden to a company if the burst hose causes outages which would mean loss of production until the problem is sorted.

Their high tech testing facilities puts the hose through a series of tests. This includes an initial visual hose inspection; this can detect corrosive damage, wear and tear and any mechanical damage. The next test involves a Hydrostatic test; this is a high pressure test which takes the pressure of water to the max value specified by the hose manufacture. An internal inspection is then carried out using a videoscope, which is capable of picking up a hole no bigger than a pin head. After testing hoses are assembled and packaged.

All hoses that are produced at Buckley Industrial are given a unique serial number, so they can be tracked from the day they leave the factory to the day they retire. This enables efficient recall for inspection and testing if need be.

As well as the maintenance of hoses, Buckly Industrial also produces a wide range of hose couplings, fittings and various hoses from metallic stainless steel braided hoses to rubber, pvc, composite and hydraulic.
